A Willow Technology company

Privacy notice

Last updated: October 2026

This notice explains how AirZip, a division of Willow Technology (Isle of Man) Ltd. collects and uses personal data through the airzip.com web site, and the rights you have in relation to that data. It is written to meet the requirements of the Isle of Man GDPR and LED Implementing Regulations 2018 made under the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.

1. Who we are

AirZip is a division of Willow Technology (Isle of Man) Ltd. ("Willow", "we", "us"), which is the data controller for personal data processed through this web site.

Postal contact details for the controller are published on willowtech.com.

For any question about this notice or about your personal data, email info@airzip.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact form enquiries — the type of enquiry, your name, company, email address, telephone number (optional), country, product or area of interest and your message. The form also contains a hidden anti-spam field that is never shown to visitors.
  • Email you send us — whatever you choose to include, together with your email address.
  • Server logs — our web server records the date and time of each request, the page or file requested, the IP address of the requesting device, the referring page and the browser and operating-system identifier sent by your browser. Logs are used only for security, troubleshooting and capacity planning, and to produce aggregate traffic reports with GoAccess, software that runs on our own server and anonymises IP addresses before anything is written to a report.
  • Aggregate, cookieless analytics — page views, referrers, country, device type and browser family, collected without cookies, without storing IP addresses and without building a profile of any individual visitor. We use Plausible Community Edition, open-source analytics software that we host on our own server; the measurement script is served from this web site's own address, so no request is made to any third party.

We do not collect special-category data through this site and ask that you do not send it to us.

We do not use your data for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell or rent personal data.

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and contact data — up to 24 months from your last contact with us, or, where a business relationship follows, for 24 months after that relationship ends. Business and tax records are kept for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require.
  • Server logs — 180 days, unless a log entry is needed for an ongoing security investigation.
  • Analytics — aggregate statistics only; they contain no personal data and are kept indefinitely.

5. Who receives your data

Within the Willow Technology group, your enquiry is seen only by the people who need to answer it. Enquiries addressed to AirZip may be shared with the relevant Willow Technology group division if that is where the expertise lies. We use the following categories of processor, each bound by a contract that meets Article 28 GDPR:

  • our email and web hosting providers;
  • no analytics processor: Plausible and GoAccess run on our own infrastructure and share nothing with third parties.

We may disclose personal data where required by law, court order or a competent authority, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. International transfers

We are established in the Isle of Man, which the European Commission and the United Kingdom recognise as providing an adequate level of data protection. Where a processor is located outside the Isle of Man, the UK and the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or on the appropriate standard contractual clauses, with supplementary measures where needed.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the applicable law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability for data you provided to us that we process by automated means on the basis of contract;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests; and
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing already carried out.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@airzip.com. We will respond within one month, and may ask you to verify your identity first.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so that we can try to put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Isle of Man Information Commissioner. If you are in the United Kingdom you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; if you are in the European Economic Area, to the supervisory authority of the member state where you live or work.

9. Cookies and tracking

This web site sets no cookies and uses no third-party trackers, advertising tags or social-media plug-ins. Any analytics we run is cookieless and aggregate, as described in section 2. Because nothing is stored on your device, no cookie consent banner is shown.

10. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not profile visitors to this site.

11. Children

This site is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16; if you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Links to other sites

This site links to the other Willow Technology group sites and to third-party sites. Each Willow group site carries its own copy of this notice. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites.

13. Changes to this notice
