AirZip was founded in 1999 and introduced FileSECURE in 2002. Willow Technology acquired AirZip from its venture investors at the end of 2004, and in December 2016 AirZip was fully merged into Willow, where it continues to trade under the AirZip name as an operating division.
AirZip customers include small, medium and global manufacturing, financial and services enterprises as well as local, state and national government bodies.
